1-Call Services is the brainchild of our Founder, Operations Manager and all around “Grouchy Old
Man” (GOM). This dream has been in the making for 20 years. The GOM has finally been
dragged into the 21st Century (kicking and screaming) and the age of the internet. GOM, along
with our President and Head Kitty, Momma, are finally realizing those dreams through 1-Call and
our website.
Our Office Manager, Carol Sheehan, is also our gift basket designer, personal shopper, and Girl
Friday. If Carol doesn’t know what is going on in the office, no one does. She keeps an eye on all
aspects of the daily running of 1-Call Services as well as keeping the GOM in line.
We offer a wide variety of services to the public. Auto parts, auto sales on consignment, auto
detailing and removal of junk cars from your personal or business property is a popular item for
many.
Property maintenance is another service we offer. There is no job too small. We clean out
basements, do general household repairs and maintenance and can provide emergency
services for your home or business. We currently manage several properties from individual
homes, multi-family apartment buildings to office buildings.
Our Emergency Property Board-Up Services are available 24 hours a day. If your property should
sustain damage from fire, vandalism, or a natural disaster; we will come in and secure the
building and existing entries (such as windows and doors) for you. Allow us to give you some
peace of mind during a trying time. We also offer direct billing to your insurance company for your
convenience.
Our honor snack box vending service is a great way to keep your employees content, well-fed, and
productive. There is no cost associated to you other than finding a space to locate the box within
your establishment. We maintain it on a weekly basis; assuring that you have a fresh supply of a
variety of snack foods. We ask that you pay on ‘the honor system’ whenever you select a snack
from the box. We do, however, also operate on the ‘3 strikes and your out’ system. If your
company has 3 boxes that are significantly short on cash; we will pull the box. We have found that
most businesses are very honest using this system and have had few problems.
Our gift basket/personal shopping division takes the time, aggravation, and guess work out of
your gift giving needs. You tell us your price range and gift needs and we’ll take it from there. We
even offer delivery within the US at an additional cost.
